The Recognition Policy for Presenters is designed to allow all contributors to attend the conference and exhibition.
SIGGRAPH Asia requires you to request for your Contributor Recognition entitlement. Accepted presenters who are entitled to funding from their employers, or who can fund their registration through grants, are encouraged to consider opting-out of their Contributor Recognition entitlement.
Limited budgets for registration discounts are available, and SIGGRAPH Asia would like to maximize their use for presenters and students who would not be able to attend by other means. By doing so we are striving to present a larger pool of presenters and students, from a variety of geographic areas, with the opportunity to attend SIGGRAPH Asia.
The online submission system will provide you with the tools to submit your application post-acceptance if you need to apply for registration discounts. Having done so, you will receive your discount codes prior to the conference, as it has been done in previous years.
The basic recognition policy is based on a percentage discount off the early (ACM SIGGRAPH Member) registration fees for whichever registration category the presenter or volunteer chooses (regardless of when registration is completed), according to the following table. To register as a student and receive a discount off the student member registration fee, the contributor must be a current student member of ACM or ACM SIGGRAPH. In order to realize your registration discount, you need to register through the SIGGRAPH Asia 2017 online registration system (available between July & August 2017). Registration discounts will not be granted onsite. You will be advised on online registration deadlines in your acceptance email.
Take note:
Program Presenters are expected to cover their own travel costs, which are not covered by SIGGRAPH Asia. One contributor per accepted submission has to register with a Basic Conference or Full Conference registration in order for the work to be published and presented at SIGGRAPH Asia.
Registration is compulsory before early bird discount ends.
