Prerequisites: The course assumes the audience to have basic 3D modeling knowledge taught in an introductory-level computer graphics course, though this is not a strict requirement.

Summary: 3D virtual worlds find many important applications, from movies, games, visualization to immersive virtual reality applications. In this course, we will discuss the common techniques for modeling realistic 3D virtual worlds from both the computer graphics and vision perspectives, as well as the exciting application opportunities ahead.
